- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) salted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
- Pinch of sea salt

- In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
- Add the coconut oil, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract to the bananas. Stir until well combined.
- Gently mix in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Avoid overmixing for a tender loaf.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the Cinnamon Spice Butter:
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened butter with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, cloves, and a pinch of salt.
